What it is
Buyience NovaCore B2B Quote Engine is a free WordPress plugin that extends WooCommerce with quote requests, pricing rules and a buyer portal.
What it costs
Nothing. The plugin is free on WordPress.org. The optional Nova Core service, which adds AI-assisted quoting and the Digital Sales Room, is priced separately.
What it changes on your site
No WooCommerce core data is modified or removed. It adds a quote button, its own settings screens, and a page holding the quote builder shortcode.
What it needs
WordPress 5.8 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher. WooCommerce is needed only for product-page integration and product sync.
THE CHALLENGE
WooCommerce wasn't built for B2B
You like WordPress. Wholesale buyers just need six things WooCommerce does not do out of the box.
No native quoting
Fixed prices, or a plugin stack
B2B buyers expect a quote. WooCommerce offers a fixed price and a cart, so the usual answer is four add-ons that each solve a quarter of the problem and none of which talk to each other.
One price for everyone
Your best customer sees retail
The account you have supplied for nine years opens your site and sees the same number a first-time visitor sees. Negotiated pricing lives in a spreadsheet that the storefront knows nothing about.
The deal happens in email
No place to negotiate
Revisions travel as attachments. Nobody is sure which version is current, and the only record of what was agreed is somebody's sent folder.
No buyer self-service
Every reorder is a message
Without a portal for quotes, orders and invoices, routine repeat business arrives as email and phone calls that your team retypes by hand.
Six add-ons, one update away
Wholesale pricing, quote forms, role-based visibility and tax handling as separate plugins means every WooCommerce release is a compatibility gamble.
The usual advice
"Just replatform"
Moving to an enterprise B2B platform means rebuilding the site, the content and the SEO you spent years earning — to solve a quoting problem.
HOW IT FITS
The plugin is the bridge
Core quoting lives in WordPress. When you want more, the plugin connects securely to Nova Core, where AI-assisted quoting and negotiation run. You choose how far to go.
WordPress + WooCommerce
Your store, products, theme and customers — unchanged. No migration and no rebuild.
Buyience plugin
Adds Request a Quote, pricing rules and a buyer portal. Free, and installed from your WordPress admin.
Nova Core
Connect over a secure token for AI-assisted quotes, the Digital Sales Room and multi-warehouse stock.
CAPABILITIES
B2B features inside your WordPress dashboard
Tags show what ships in the free plugin and what needs a connected Nova Core account.
Request a Quote
Add a Request a Quote button to any WooCommerce product — replace Add to Cart, or offer both. Button text, colour and position are all configurable, and quotes carry SKU and quantity.
Customer-specific pricing
Show each buyer their negotiated prices and payment terms, with tiered and contract-based pricing rules instead of one retail number for everyone.
Buyer portal
Buyers view quotes, approve offers, manage orders and download invoices from a dedicated portal — so reorders stop arriving as email.
WooCommerce product sync
Synchronise WooCommerce products with Buyience manually or on a daily schedule, with sync logs you can review when something looks off.
AI-assisted quotes
Optional quote recommendations drawn from pricing history and buyer behaviour. Recommendations only — a person approves every price, and nothing is set automatically.
Digital Sales Room
Move complex deals into a real-time negotiation room with revision history on every line, instead of a chain of forwarded emails.
HOW IT WORKS
Up and running in three steps
No developer required. It installs from your WordPress admin like any other plugin.
- about 5 minutes
Install the plugin
In WordPress admin go to Plugins → Add New, search "Buyience NovaCore B2B Quote Engine", then Install and Activate. Activation creates a Create Store page holding the quote builder shortcode.
- about 5 minutes
Turn on WooCommerce integration
Under Settings → WooCommerce Integration, enable it and set the button position, text and styling. Optionally hide Add to Cart and prices on trade products.
- about 10 minutes
Connect and sync
Optionally click Connect to Buyience Account — the subdomain configures itself. Add WooCommerce REST API credentials to sync products, then let the daily scheduler keep them in step.

FITS YOUR STACK
Works with your existing stack
No migration, no rebuild. The plugin sits alongside what you already run.
Modern WordPress
Requires WordPress 5.8 or higher on PHP 7.4 or higher. Current release tested up to 6.9.7.
WP 5.8+WooCommerce
Adds Request a Quote to product pages and syncs products through the WooCommerce REST API.
REST APIAny theme or builder
Standard WooCommerce hooks plus a shortcode, so Elementor, Divi, Astra and custom themes all work.

Shortcodes, filters and what actually gets stored
The detail a cautious site owner asks for before installing anything on a production store.
Shortcode and activation filters
Activation creates a Create Store page at buyncbqe2-create-store containing the quote builder. Three filters let you control that before you activate.
// Place the quote builder anywhere yourself
[buyncbqe2_quote_builder]
// Skip the auto-created page entirely
add_filter( 'buyncbqe2_allow_auto_page_creation', '__return_false' );
// Or change its slug
add_filter( 'buyncbqe2_auto_page_slug', function() {
return 'my-custom-slug';
} );
// Or create it as a draft for review first
add_filter( 'buyncbqe2_auto_page_status', function() {
return 'draft';
} );- Product sync runs through the WooCommerce REST API using a consumer key and secret you supply. Manual sync on demand, or a daily scheduler at midnight, with logs in the settings screen.
- Navbar integration adds a Dashboard button to a menu location you choose; it opens the Buyience storefront in a new tab.
- Multisite use is supported — each site connects with its own Buyience subdomain configuration.
Security and data handling
The plugin connects to an external service, so here is exactly what crosses the boundary and what stays put.
- Your Buyience password is never stored in WordPress. It is forwarded over HTTPS for authentication; only the returned access token is kept, with autoload disabled.
- No WordPress users are created or modified. No wp_set_current_user() or equivalent session bypass.
- Admin endpoints require manage_options through current_user_can(), and every REST route carries a permission callback.
- Nothing is transmitted without an explicit administrator action — no silent phone-home on activation.
- Hosted Buyience interfaces open as external links, not embedded iframes, so they are not loaded on your front end.
- The plugin performs no tracking or analytics of its own.
- No WooCommerce core data is modified or removed.

WordPress plugin FAQs
Is the plugin free?
Yes. The plugin is free on WordPress.org. Quote requests, the WooCommerce Request a Quote button, pricing rules and the buyer portal work without paying anything. The optional Buyience Nova Core service, which adds AI-assisted quote recommendations and the Digital Sales Room, has its own pricing.
Do I need a Buyience account to use the plugin?
No. Core quote request and WooCommerce integration features run inside WordPress without any external service. A Buyience account is only required if you choose to enable the hosted interfaces or the advanced automation features — which is a decision you can leave until the quoting basics are earning their keep.
What WordPress and PHP versions do I need?
WordPress 5.8 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher. The current release is version 1.2.5, tested up to WordPress 6.9.7. WooCommerce is needed only for the product-page integration and product sync — the quote builder shortcode works on any WordPress site.
Will this slow down or modify my WordPress site?
No WooCommerce core data is modified or removed. The plugin adds its own settings screens and a quote button, and hosted Buyience interfaces open as external links rather than embedded iframes, so they are never loaded on your front end. The plugin performs no tracking or analytics of its own.
Does the plugin create or modify WordPress users?
No. It does not create WordPress user accounts or change credentials, and it does not use wp_set_current_user() or similar functions to bypass session checks. Administrative endpoints require the manage_options capability through current_user_can(), and all REST routes carry permission callbacks.
Where are my Buyience credentials stored?
The Buyience password is never stored in WordPress. During connection it is submitted to your WordPress site and forwarded over HTTPS to Buyience for authentication; only the returned access token is stored in WordPress options, with autoload disabled, and used solely for API communication. Nothing is transmitted without an explicit administrator action.
Is the AI making pricing decisions automatically?
No. AI-assisted features provide recommendations only. Suggestions are generated from pricing history and buyer behaviour, and a person approves or overrides every price before a quote goes out. Nothing is repriced without a human deciding to.
Can I keep my existing B2C store running?
Yes. Show Add to Cart and Request a Quote together, or show Request a Quote only on selected products. Retail buyers check out as normal while trade buyers raise quotes — same catalogue, same site, same SEO.
Does it work with my theme and page builder?
Yes. The quote button hooks into standard WooCommerce product template positions, and the quote builder storefront is placed with the [buyncbqe2_quote_builder] shortcode, so Elementor, Divi, Astra and custom themes all work. Button text, colour and position are set in the plugin settings.
How does product sync work?
Product sync uses the WooCommerce REST API. You add a consumer key and secret under Product Sync, then run a manual sync or let the daily scheduler run at midnight. Results are written to a log you can review in the settings screen, and syncing is entirely optional.
Can I use the plugin on multiple sites?
Yes. Each site connects with its own Buyience subdomain configuration, so a multi-brand operator can run several WordPress stores against separate Buyience accounts without them colliding.
Can I stop the plugin creating a page on activation?
Yes. On activation the plugin creates a Create Store page holding the quote builder shortcode. Add the buyncbqe2_allow_auto_page_creation filter returning false before activating to skip it, or use buyncbqe2_auto_page_slug and buyncbqe2_auto_page_status to change the slug or create it as a draft for review.
